Mike Skeen races the Cragar Corvette [the one Ron Fellows took to a win earlier in the season]. When it was time to qualify @ Mid-Ohio, he hit the 'rec' button and the 'go' pedal.
That was an amazing race. It sounded like his tranny blew up on him, cause he was missing gears coming down into the esses, but apparently it was his engine. He had that porsche done for.

+100 on that car's sound... pure awesomeness! I've watched the races there in person but that's the best seat in the house. Great job on the win Mike!

All I can say is: Nice!

I watched both WC race at Mid Ohio. This man can drive. In the first race, he made some gutsy passes, then held off an experienced driver even though it seemed like his tires were gone. He would have won the 2nd race, but his motor had had enough. Looking forward to watch him race again. Hope WC doesn't reward his effort with more balast or a smaller restrictor.

The only way that the other cars can be competitive is if Corvette has the ballast or restrictor handicaps...its happened before. If Corvette is going to get a good fair race, then all of the entries are gonna have to be Vettes!

Excellent racing Mike, I hope Crager signs you up for next year, you have a special talent. It was nice to see a Corvette win again in the WC race.

Great video Mike! It was great watching you take the measure of the field on Saturday!!! I am sure you would have done the same on Sunday if your tranny hadn't acted up. Hope you get a permanent ride in this Vette, would be good for all concerned, except for the competition of course...LOL!!!!

That is a sweet sounding vette. Is that the same one that Ron Fellows drove to a win at Watkins Glen a few weeks ago?
